Introduction:

This exam is conducted by SSC every year to recruit candidates for various posts in the central police forces of India. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of SSC.

Understanding SSC GD Recruitment and Exam:

The SSC GD recruitment exam is a highly competitive examination that is conducted annually. This exam is divided into four stages, namely, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Examination.

The CBT stage is the first stage of the examination, which comprises multiple-choice questions from four sections, namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Candidates who clear this stage are eligible to appear for the next stage, which is the PET.

SSC GD Result 2023: Key Details:

As per the latest announcement by SSC, over 4 lakh candidates have qualified for the PET stage of the SSC GD recruitment examination 2023. The results for the CBT stage were declared on March 25, 2023, and candidates who have cleared this stage are eligible to appear for the PET stage.

SSC GD Cut Off Marks 2023:

The SSC GD Cut Off Marks for 2023 have been released along with the results. The cut-off marks for the General category candidates is 35%, while it is 33% for candidates belonging to the OBC, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

The Cut Off Marks are the minimum marks required to qualify for the PET stage of the exam. Candidates who have scored equal to or more than the cut-off marks are eligible to appear for the PET stage.

What’s Next for SSC GD Qualified Candidates?

Candidates who have cleared the CBT stage and have qualified for the PET stage must start preparing for the next stage. The PET stage of the exam comprises physical tests, such as running, long jump, and high jump. The PET stage is qualifying in nature, which means that candidates who fail to clear this stage will not be eligible for the next stage of the examination.

Candidates who clear the PET stage will be called for the PST stage of the exam, where their physical standards will be checked. Candidates who meet the required physical standards will be called for the medical examination stage.

Conclusion:

The SSC GD Recruitment examination 2023 is a highly competitive examination, and candidates who have cleared the CBT stage and have qualified for the PET stage have crossed the first hurdle in their journey to become a part of the central police forces of India. Candidates must continue to work hard and prepare well for the next stages of the examination to increase their chances of success.
